   Diana Davis, 54, of Fargo, ND, passed away in her home on Friday, January 28, 2022, with her family by her side.

   Diana Jean Sturma was born on February 24, 1967, in Oakes, ND, to Gregory and Judith (Ulmer) Sturma.  While growing up, her family moved to Pennsylvania, and later to Cavalier, ND, where she graduated from high school in 1985.

   Following graduation, she attended Wahpeton State College of Science (NDSCS) and received and Associate’s of Arts Degree in CPU Programming.  She began working for a school district, and then began working for SuperValu (UNFI) in 1989, and worked there for 32 years.

   It was at work that she met and later married Larry Davis.  They were married on June 6, 1992 at Cavalier, and lived near Wheatland, ND from November, 1992-December, 2021, when they moved to Fargo.

   Diana had many fond memories of doing woodworking with her father as part of their craft business, and the many pranks they played on each other.  She was a member of the Teamsters Local #120.  Diana enjoyed crocheting, painting, metalworking, raising flowers, and gardening.  Diana was also an animal lover and had raised many cats and dogs with the most recent ones being Ellie and Lily.

   She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis, Fargo; parents, Gregory and Judith Sturma; sister, Jodi (Craig) Drengson, Reile’s Acres, ND; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; step-son, Mike (Angie) Davis; step-grandsons Isaac and Chase Davis; and her fur babies.

   She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reuben and Vivian Ulmer, formerly Oakes, ND; and Richard and Frances Sturma, formerly Fullerton, ND.

   Memorials are preferred to Cat’s Cradle, or any other animal shelter.

Visitation: Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
